Constitution
History The formation of a comittee for the IMechE preceded PESC in 1977 under the chairmanship of Mr Roy Mason. The Finiston report on the shortage of  Engineering expertise came out in 1980 and. PESC was formed in 1985. This was in accordance with the newly formed Engineering Council (E.C)it;s aims being to incourage people into the engineering  profession.. Like the E.C, PSEC was to serve all engineering institutions not only IMechE..
